Ze Big Keili 2012 was last Saturday, 28th January... A great success ! with 48 dansers at the workshop and over 130 in the evening of "contra" dances ! The excellent group Stick Shift together with the caller and teacher Rhodri Davies did a fantastic job and it was a great pleasure to dance to their music.

New publication... volume 3 of Hervé Dréan's collection of traditions from the region of La Roche-Bernard, "Instants de Mémoire", containing 180 more songs, has just been published.The three volumes contain over 500 songs.These are the first in a series of 7 volumes (traditions through the seasons, traditions of the life-cycle, stories and legends...)

where ? : in the "salle richelieu" next to the campsite, down by the river in la roche-bernard, southern brittany (between vannes and nantes)... if you don't know the town, it's worth a visit - and while you're there, drop into the workshop !
pontchâteau 44 - (between la roche-bernard and nantes), in the Salle Coet Roz, on the third thursday of each month at the same times. The workshop is organised by the association "les amis de l'irlande" and costs 25 euros for one year (9 classes).
